By joining Virginia Tech Men’s Water Polo, you will be part of an elite group of student-athletes at one of the nation’s premier polytechnic institutions. The Hokies have built a reputation for excellence within the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA), consistently competing at the highest levels of the Atlantic Division.
Our location on the East Coast provides a unique competitive advantage. Our schedule allows us to travel North to face traditional water polo powerhouses in indoor facilities, as well as head South to compete in sun-drenched outdoor facilities, giving our players one of the most diverse playing experience in the country.
Since Virginia Tech is one of the best institutions in the country, our players can tap into an expansive and extremely successful alumni network. Due to the vast amount of programs Virginia Tech offers, we have alums in various industries including Aerospace, Mechanical, Civil, and Biomedical Engineering, as well as investment banking, consulting, law, and biotech, who are working at industry leaders such as BAE Systems, Bank of America, General Electric, and KPMG.

Virginia Tech Admissions
All students, regardless of their residency or citizenship, apply to Virginia Tech through the Common App. The application will require your personal biographical information, family details, educational history, and a list of your extracurricular activities.
